Playing with Protons

CREATIONS is continuing its activities during summer 2016. The first Playing with Protons (PwP) training course for ten primary school teachers from Greece will take place at CERN from 17 to 22 August. This innovative course will include lectures by CERN scientists, hands-on workshops, visits to experimental facilities, study groups and open discussions. All expenses including travel, accommodation, food and educational materials will be fully covered by CREATIONS and the sponsors of the course.

PwP is a science education initiative, led by the CMS Experiment at CERN, that brings together primary school teachers, CERN researchers and science education specialists with the aim to develop creative approaches to engaging K-6 students with science, technology and innovation.
